When Kirstie Alley made her acting debut as Lt. Saavik in "Star Trek II - The Wrath of Khan" way back in 1982, she instantly became one of my favourite actresses. Her portrayal of Saavik was brilliant & helped make "STII - TWOK" my favourite "Star Trek" film so far. I was upset when her character in "Runaway" met a messy and untimely demise, and quickly became a "Cheers" fan once Rebecca Howe made her neurotic entrance. "Veronica's Closet" gave me my weekly dose of laughter and lingerie.

This page is dedicated to the lady who, although she once said "humour - it is a difficult concept. It is not logical", surely knows how to be both logical and a laugh a minute.

Kirstie Alley has never been shy about publicly overcoming adversity. In 2005, she battled weight loss in her Showtime sitcom, "Fat Actress". Now, Alley is ready for her next battle as she stars in and executive produces the upcoming Lifetime Original Movie "Write & Wrong." Alley stars as a middle-aged screenwriter who learns she's all washed up in Hollywood because of her age. Alley cleverly uses her 20-something nephew who acts as the writer of her scripts, but when he falls in love with a studio executive, her plan to reveal that she's the original author is jeopardized. "Write & Wrong" will premiere Sunday, June 3 at 8:00 PM (ET/PT) on Lifetime Television (U.S.A).
